    Hi everyone Im new here and am putting my story up for everyone to see :)
    I am 22, 164cm and weight 113.3kgs :(
    I am wanting to get down to 70kgs.
    I am on 30mg and yesterday was my first day
    Anyway I will be updating this as much as I can to let everyone know my progress and journey.
    I have read a few of the stories on here and am very inspired to lose the weight. GO US!! WE CAN DO IT!!! :D

    Hi Ambie,
    congratulations on your decision to take duromine, you will do great. Don't worry about the annoying side effects you may experience. Just remember we here to support you, YAY i agree WE CAN DO IT:)

    Im so hoping this works I just want to be able to look in the mirror and see the me Im meant to be.
    Just a question should I weigh myself everyday or once a week? What do you all think would be better?

    Rather weigh yourself once a week Amber because your weight may flactuate in between days and you may feel a little discouraged when you notice that you have gained even as little as 0.1g. Once a week is good. but what do you do in the meantime? You stay disciplined, working your ass off and great anticipation of that weigh in day. My bday is coming up in June 27th. I started on Duromine last Saturday and have lost 3.7kg since then. It has been 4 days. yeah I know.. I had to see if it's working. Now I see It is. Next weigh in is in 9 days

    I'm a bit nervous that it's not going to work :/ but still gotta believe it will hay :)

    Hi Ambie :) Ive been taking Duromine for 2 1/2 weeks now. Im glad you took the plunge and decided to do something about your health. I needed a kickstart aswell. Dont be worried that it wont work, because if your eating healthy and excercising regularly then you will lose weight eventually anyway. Happy for you :D

    Absolutely. Once a week is the best way.

    :) thanks everyone. Well I'm going to weigh and measure myself on Sundays :) and I will update what my numbers are :)

    Hi I'm almost to the end of week 2 and I feel like its not working anymore I feel like I'm not losing any weight:(

    Hi Ambie

    Could you please take us through your normal day? I want to try and figure out why you feel this way. Tell us how you spend your days, what you eatand eat and how much. We will go through it together and see if we can't do adjustments to change that feeling.

    Well I wake up and have duromine and thyroxine then wait 1/2 hour till having 2 pieces of toast for breakfast then go to work and have a sandwich for lunch and then come home at 5.30 and have dinner at 6. I don't eat anything else that's it.

    Seems fine with me. BUT!
    #1. Do you sit at work?
    #2. Do you drink water more than 1 L per day?
    #3. Do you workout anyhow? (it's important, since no weight loss is achieved w/t exercises)

    I work in child care so pretty much on my feet all day.
    I drink a bit of water but not that much.
    And when I get a chance I do some exercise dvds.

    Hi question
    does your time of the month slow down the weight loss? because Im thinking maybe thats why this week hasnt been as good as last weeks.

    You can retain more fluid during that time of the month. Women can fluctuate around 2kg as far as I know? Drinking more water will keep fluid retention down and eating 5-6 small meals/snack will get your metabolism working faster :)
