    ==================== ============

    Hello
It's Monday, 23 May and time to update my progress:

    week12: 93.9kg (lost 1.1kg)
TOTAL weight loss after 12 weeks: 17.3kg

All right, during the 12th week , on Thursday, I've started a new dose tablets - 40mg but only every second day and on the other days I still take 30mg tablet. The 40mg tablet is very strong and makes me dizzy. Today I took it again for the third time and I don't have any symptoms yet , it's around 1pm . On other days ,while taking 30mg, I feel as usual and what's important I don't feel hungry. I'll keep going with the dose as directed and I want to see how much I will loose next week. I just need to see if it works for me or not. People are sending many different opinions about the tablets but I could not find an examples on how they were doing while taking it for longer than 12weeks.

I must loose weight as soon as possible (but not rapidly) and maintain it. I was told, I still have a chance to fully recover from my diabetes , so it's important I keep loosing my weight until I am in the healthy zone of 80kg.
I don't skip meals, I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner but in small portion and rich in proteins . Also, if I feel like it, I eat small healthy snacks or just have an apple.

During this 12th week I felt a bit sick for one day. It felt like it was liver or my stomach or both and afterwards my abdominal remained bloated for a couple of days. I think, it was due to my hormons half cycle, which normally I don't feel, so it's good I found out the cause, thx for some tips here by other posters . Today everything feels fine.
That's all for now and have a nice week Bye bye

    Good Morning Everyone
Did you think I was gone? No, not yet. It's Monday morning and time to see how I am doing after the 13th week . Last week was soo long, I couldn't wait to see what my result is. I weight myself everyday, so I can see how my weight 'plays' with me, it goes down, stays the same or even goes up a little. After so many weeks I know now a lot about my body respond to different food. Anyway, I want to show you my progress first:
    week13: 92.8kg (lost 1.1kg)
TOTAL weight loss after 13 weeks: 18.4kgs

It's the same loss as last week but I am pretty happy with it. I can feel the tablets are still working because I don't feel hungry for most of the days. Also, I don't have any side effects. My blood pressure is normal, I can sleep well, I don't feel more energetic as some of you, but I wish I was. I feel as before taking tablets but with one big change - I CAN SLEEP NOW . It was a nightmare before, I couldn't sleep well and my sleeping patern was dangerously disturbed. Not anymore.

Lately I was thinking of quiting this tablets if my weight did not go down. On the other hand, I trust my doctor and don't want to question her about the decision to continue taking tablets after 12 weeks as it is clearly written : only your doctor can decide the dosage and for how long to take the tablets . Some people are prone to become addicts, so never ever take this tablets until you are sure you are healthy enough to take them. You can notice most of the people have side effects, some of them very bad and it shoudn't be ignored, see your doctor and talk about it.

I am happy with my progress, I found out that a healthy weight loss should be between 0.5kg - 1kg per week , that is what I need. I don't want to get all the weight back but that's what happening when you loose your weight too quickly. It doesn't work like that.
Happy to announce, officialy I am now size 14.
All right, have a nice day or night. Need to go now, bye bye

Re: Started taking Duromine on 01 March 2011

    Hello Everyone
Just a quick visit to see how some of you are doing. So, we have October now.... and almost 7 months passed. I am happy to say, that I am now 81kg (size 12 ) and am still loosing weight. I did not gain any weight during this whole time when not on Duromine. For some time, I was not loosing any weight but noticed some body shrinking. I had some breaks while taking the tablets. I had absolutely NO PROBLEM when going off the tablets ( no signs of addiction or any other bad experiences - like some people describe). I just started to take 40mg Duromine tablets as I need to loose some more kilos . My doctor said it won't made me addicted ( and it didn't !) and I really wonder why some of you people write this bull... everywhere on the net. For some overweight people Duromine could be a life saver. I am the example.
Also, I would like to add that I am now completely healthy person, my blood pressure returned to normal for some months now (I am no longer taking the pressure tablets).....and I am no longer diabetic . Just did some detailed blood tests. I can tell I am now healthy, no smoker, eating 1/3 of food as I used to eat. Need some help (from tablets) to burn more of my body fat ( I don;t know if you are aware but Duromine helps burn the body fat ). All right need to go now. See ya later

    Hi Anne,

Congrats on such a fantastic weight loss. I started on the 40mg yesterday and I have barely had any of the side effects that I had when I was on the 30mgs. I am in a great mood and have a lot of energy. I am drinking a lot of water which I usually hate to drink and am very confident that this time I will keep the weight off. Your thread is encouraging and I can't wait to see a pic of you at your goal weight.
